Reinhardt, Natoli Earn ASUN Weekly Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida men's soccer redshirt senior forward Jaxon Reinhardt and redshirt senior Luciano Natoli earned Atlantic Sun Conference weekly honors on Monday. 
 
Reinhardt was named ASUN Player of the Week and Natoli added ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week accolades. It marked the second career weekly conference nods for Natoli and Reinhardt. 
 
"I'm happy for Luciano and Jaxon as they have both put in the work during the off season," head coach Jamie Davies said. "I'm sure they will both say, these accolades are due to a collective effort from the team who have helped defensively and also create goal scoring chances. These guys will continue to grow and get even better as the season goes on!"
 
Reinhardt notched two goals in a pair of road matches at Wisconsin on Aug. 21 and Marquette on Aug. 24. Reinhardt's goal at Wisconsin in 37th minute proved to be the game winner and propelled North Florida to its first win over a Big 10 opponent and first win over a Power Four opponent since it defeated N.C. State on Sept. 4, 2016. He ranks 12th nationally and second in the ASUN with two goals. It marked the sixth and seventh career goals for Reinhardt. 
 
Natoli posted 10 saves with a save percentage of .833 in the pair of matches. Natoli notched his fifth-career clean sheet with four saves at Wisconsin. He didn't allow a goal for the first 175 minutes of the season. He ranks 10th nationally and second in the ASUN with 10 saves. 
 
North Florida heads out west to battle fellow 2024 NCAA Tournament participant UC Santa Barbara on Thursday, Aug. 28 at Harder Stadium at 10 p.m. ET.
