JACKSONVILLEÂ - North Florida men's soccer returns to Hodges after three straight away contests to conclude its home ASUN slate. The Ospreys look to break a three-game skid against in-state foe Stetson.
1. LAST TIME OUTÂ - UNF looks to get back into the win column after falling to NJIT on Saturday, 2-0. The teams were in a scoreless tie at half, but the Highlanders took advantage in the 69th minute. They added an insurance goal in the 74th minute on a give-and-go backward pass for the 2-0 lead.
2. RPI - The NCAA released the latest RPI rankings with the Ospreys ranking in the top four in the ASUN with a 101 ranking. FGCUÂ (69) and Jacksonville (95) were both ranked above UNF. North Florida tied with FGCU and shutout JU on its home field. Stetson is the other school above UNF, coming in at 93.
3. LEADING THE WAY - Freshman Robbie Soronellas is currently atop the UNF stats with a pair of goals and two assists. He netted both goals in the win against Jacksonville (Oct. 5).
4. SCOUTING THE OPPONENT - Stetson is coming of a scoreless draw against FAU. Chris DeGance paces the Hatters with three goals, while William Suaut owns a pair of goals and two helpers. Eight total players have found the back of the net. Gabriel Diniz has been a playmaker as he has a team-high four assists. In the net, Lute Lillo-Portero owns five blank sheets and a 0.90 GAA.
