LEADERBOARD: Sophomore Daniela Gonzalez earned a career best finish in leading the North Florida women's golf team to a fifth-place showing at the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Kiawah Island Resort's Turtle Point Course.
FIRST TEE
- Daniela Gonzalez was among the individual leaders through all three rounds of the event, finishing with her second straight round of even par 72 on Tuesday en route to a tie for fourth at 4-under 212
- Senior Sydney Shrader was the Ospreys other Top 20 finisher, earning a tie for 19th at 218 following her final round 76
- Junior Mindy Herrick shot a 1-over 73 on the last day to finish with a total of 221 (T35) while fellow junior Sara McKevitt was tied for 48th at 224 including a final round 75
- Sophomore Liss Davalos rounded out the North Florida lineup with a 76 and finished tied for 53rd (226)
- UNF carded a three-round total of 872 capped by their final round 296
