JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF men's tennis continues its fall tennis slate with another weekend of action at the 2019 Bedford Cup hosted by Florida State University.
1. Last Time Out
CARY, N.C. - It was four singles matches and four straight-sets wins for UNF Sunday, headlined by sophomore Dominik Barton's Men's Singles Blue Consolation title after he downed Omni Kumar of Duke, 6-3, 6-4. Joe Ellis picked up his third singles win of the weekend, rounding out a strong stay at the James Bonk Invite after he finished as a runner-up in doubles yesterday alongside Barton.
MACON, Ga.-Â After dropping his weekend opening Flight A Singles match Friday, senior Federico Nani rebounded to rattle off four consecutive wins and claim the Flight A Singles Consolation Crown Sunday with a comeback three-set triumph. Freshman PJ Kotan also nabbed a win in extras play.

UNF is a combined 25-14 in singles matches and 5-9 in doubles play through two weekends of fall tennis … Federico Nani paces UNF with a 7-2 singles record … Dominik Barton is a team-best 4-2 in doubles, playing alongside Nilo Duarte and Joe Ellis.Â

The Ospreys return six from last year's squad, losing only two in Till Von Winning and Sahil Deshmukh … UNF has two seniors in Federico Nani and Charley Castaing, two juniors in Jorge Nunez and Nilo Duarte, sophomores in Joe Ellis and Dominik Barton and freshman Patrick Kotan.
