OPENING TEE:Â The North Florida women's golf team remained among the leaders at the Lady Paladin Invitational, ranking fifth after shooting a second round 302 in Saturday's second round at the Furman University Golf Course.
ON THE GREEN
- Junior Teresa Conroy carded a second round even-par 72 to remain under par for the tournament at 1-under 143 and inside the Top 10, in a tie for 6th
- Fellow junior Sydney Shrader had the squad's second best performance of the round, posting a 76 to rank tied for 34th (145)
- Freshman Liss Davalos followed her strong opening round with a second round 77 and is still in the Top 20 at T17 (146)
- Sophomore Mindy Herrick also shot a 77 and is tied for 44th (151), while junior Natalia Rivera rounds out the Osprey lineup in 88th (165) after an 84 on Saturday
- As a team, UNF is in fifth with a 36-hole tally of 589
