JACKSONVILLE – After dropping the opening game in the seventh inning, North Florida bounced back with 13 hits in game two and took down Stetson, 6-5, in game two on Saturday at the UNF Softball Complex as the team celebrated Senior Day.

- The 13 hits in game two was just one shy of a season-high for the Ospreys. It was the first time since March 21 that UNF recorded double-figure hits.
- Navia Penrod is on an 11-game reached base streak, but had her 10-game hit streak snapped in game two.
- Game two was the first game of the season that Megan Woodson recorded two hits in one game. With her doubles, all but one player in the Ospreys starting line up has an extra base hit.
- Rindy Bryant had multiple RBIs in one game for the first time this season when she brought in two in the second game.

GAME 1 CAPSULE
- It was a pitchers dual in game one as UNF had four innings with each batter going down in order, while Stetson had three.
- In the seventh, a hit-by-pitch followed by a single put two aboard for the Hatters.
- After a pitching change, a wild pitch allowed the runners to move over before a short hit to short stop allowed the runner to beat the throw home for the 1-0 advantage.
- North Florida had two hits in the final frame, but could not convert as Stetson got the win.
- Freshman Morgan Blourne tossed 6.1 innings with three hits, three strikeouts and just the one run scored. Tori Perkins earned the win in a complete game with just five hits surrendered.
GAME 2 CAPSULE
- The second game saw four lead changes before the final one in the sixth for UNF.
- Woodson got on the bases with the first double of her career before coming around on a ground out and single for the 1-0 advantage.
- Stetson pushed three across in the top of the third to take the lead on two hits.
- North Florida answered back with a three-run inning of its own as it recorded five hits. Penrod led off with a hit-by-pitch before stealing second. She then came around on Woodson's second double of the day for the 3-2 game.
- Woodson moved to third on Dominica Cocuzza's single before she moved to second on the throw.
- Back-to-back singles from Kayla McGory and Rindy Bryant allowed two more to come in for a 4-3 advantage.
- It was short lived though as the Hatters pushed across two runs in the fourth to lead 5-4.
- In the fifth, Tiffany Lower hit a double before moving to third on McGory's single.
- A fielding error allowed Lower to score from third and tie the game.
- Cocuzza brought in the game-winning run on her single in the sixth to score Woodson. Woodson reached on a single of her own before stealing second.
- Blourne earned the win in 3.2 innings of work with four hits, no runs, one walk and four strikeouts. Perkins was issued the loss in 3.2 innings of work.
