The Leaderboard: The No. 26-ranked North Florida men's golf team posted a 3-under 285 in Sunday's opening round of the ASUN Championship to grab the top spot in the team standings. All five golfers in the UNF lineup ended the round in the Top 20.
FIRST TEE
- Junior Andrew Alligood and senior Dillon Woods both fired rounds of 3-under 69 to rank tied for 2nd, one shot behind individual leader Eric Ansett of Lipscomb
- Junior Philip Knowles also ended the round in the Top 10, ranking T6 following his even-par 72
- Sophomore Michael Mattiace finished the day T12 after a round of 75, while junior Travis Trace rounded out the the Osprey lineup with a 76 (T16)
- North Florida leads the team competition by a stroke over Lipscomb
