JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women's tennis preps for its semifinal match against No. 3 Lipscomb on Saturday at 5 p.m. at the UNF Tennis Complex. It is the second straight season the Ospreys are the No. 2 seed and is the third meeting between the schools in the semifinals.

- Lucia Montano and Valentina Mariotto each went 5-1 in ASUN action in the No. 3 and No. 5 positions, respectively.
- Lipscomb won at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in the regular season, but Montano clinched the match for the Ospreys.
- UNF blanked Lipscomb in each of the prior two meetings in the ASUNÂ Tournament.
OPPONENT NOTES
- Lipscomb earned the No. 3 seed, which is the highest in Bisons program history.Â
- The Bisons last ASUN Championship victory came in 2015 when they defeated former league member, Northern Kentucky 4-0. Â
- Freshman Kateryna Popova leads the charge with a 16-2 singles record to be named the ASUNÂ Freshman of the Year.
- The 2017Â ASUN Player of the Year Viktoriya Dzyuba finished the season with four consecutive singles victories to finish the regular season with a 10-7 record and grabbed a two-set win against NJIT in the quarterfinals.
- The doubles team of Dzyuba and Denise Buberl is 7-1 in the No. 1 spot, while the Bisons are 29-24 in doubles overall.
