The Leaderboard: The North Florida men's golf team shot their best round of the weekend (289) but were unable to make a move Sunday on the final round leaderboard at the General Hackler Championship. The Ospreys finished ninth in the highly competitive field with juniors Philip Knowles and Andrew Alligood sharing team honors in a tie for 31st.
FIRST TEE
- Junior Philip Knowles carded the squad's lowest round of the final round, shooting a 1-under 71 to finish with a 219 total (T31st)
- Fellow junior Andrew Alligood posted a final round 73 (1-over) to finish tied with Knowles at 219 (T31st)
- Junior Travis Trace and Dillon Woods also boasted final round 73s to finish T38 (221) and T49 (223), respectively
- Redshirt freshman Michael Saccente rounded out the Osprey lineup, finishing tied for 51st at 224 following a final round even-par 72
- Playing in the event as an individual, junior Jordan Batchelor earned a tie for 71st (229) after a round of 77 on Sunday
- North Florida finished with a 54-hole total of 879 to finish in the Top 10 among a field that included 14 of 15 squads ranked in the Top 100.
