- North Florida has 12 juniors and three redshirt sophomores for a total of 15 draft eligible guys in their third collegiate year. The Ospreys also have one redshirt junior, seven seniors and two redshirt seniors for a total of 25 draft eligible players on the roster.
- The Ospreys return 21 letterwinners from a season ago, including five starters and five starting pitchers. They also added 11 newcomers to round out the roster.

- South Carolina opens the 2018 season with a 10-game homestand.
- USC committed just one error in 104 chances in the VMI series, and that was in the fifth inning of the third game.

Madison Stokes had a very impressive start to the 2018 season, going 5-for-9 (.556) with three doubles and two home runs, which is good for a 1.556 slugging percentage.
