COURSE REPORT: Led by the trio of Nick Morken, Fynn Timm and Noah Perkins, the North Florida men's cross country team defeated Florida and Jacksonville at the UNF XC Invitational. Overall, the Ospreys had the top four finishers and six of the Top 10.

FINISH LINE
- Sophomore Noah Perkins (15:33.75) and juniors Fynn Timm (15:33.78) and Nick Morken (15:33.84) crossed the finish line side-by-side to sweep the podium finishes for the event. Sophomore Rob Leverone (15:45) was the fourth-place finisher
- Senior Bradley Langenberg earned an 8th place finish (16:00) in his final home cross country event, while freshman Leo Queyrou finished 10th (16:05) in his UNF debut.
- Anderson Bobo and Jared Vazquez both also made their UNF debuts in the race

THOUGHTS FROM THE TOP...
"Our team as a whole has worked very hard since last cross country season. Their dedication should yield some nice results this season. Nick, Noah and Fynn are talented runners and are all very hungry for success. Our team chemistry is outstanding and we are looking to achieve some great things this year. This was a very good start for the Ospreys. We were also happy to be able to get the meet in with Hurricane Irma looming. We want to give a big 'Thank You' to Ervin Lewis and his staff for helping us pull off this meet two days earlier than expected. We also really appreciate everyone who came out to support the meet." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg
