The short story:Â Sophomore Travis Trace carded a final round 79 on Sunday in the NCAA Golf Championship at Rich Harvest Farms. Trace made history becoming the first UNF and ASUN golfer to qualify for the NCAA Championship as an individual.

FIRST TEE
- Travis Trace played his outward nine in 2-over 38 and opened his closing nine with a birdie before posting several bogeys over his final few holes
- He netted a 54-hole total of  6-over 222 to finish T85th in the field of 156 individuals
INSIDE THE SCORECARD
- Trace finished his 54 holes at the NCAA Championship with 41 holes of par or better (32Â pars | 9 birdies)
- His score was 7 shots shy of the total score (215) that eventually qualified for Monday's final round in the stroke play championship
