The short story: The North Florida men's golf team ended the day in fourth place after firing a 1-under par 279 in Monday's opening round action of the NCAA Stanford (Calif.) Regional at the Stanford Golf Course. The Osprey lineup featured three players ranked in the Top 20 led by Philip Knowles and Dillon Woods tied for 10th after rounds of 1-under 69.

- The duo of sophomore Philip Knowles and junior Dillon Woods both boasted under-par scores on the opening 18 as the pair shot rounds of 1-under 69.
- Fellow sophomore Travis Trace finished with an even par 70 to rank tied for 17th
- Sophomore Andrew Alligood carded a 1-over 71 on Monday to finish day tied for 27th
- Freshman Michael Mattiace rounded out the Osprey lineup in a tie for 67th after shooting a 77 in his NCAA Tournament debut
