The short story:Â The North Florida men's golf team posted rounds of 286-292 on Sunday in opening day of play of the ASUNÂ Championship at the Legends Course of Chateau Elan. The Ospreys had a trio of players ranked in the individual Top 10 after the first 36 holes.

FIRST TEE
- Sophomore Travis Trace carded back-to-back rounds of 2-under 70 to finish the opening day in second place with a total of 140, just one shot behind the medalist lead
- Junior Dillon Woods also posted a pair of under-par rounds, shooting consecutive scores of 1-under 71 to rank fifth individually
- Freshman Michael Mattiace is T-9th after his rounds of 72-73
- The sophomore duo of Andrew Alligood (73-78) and Philip Knowles (73-79) rounded out the UNF lineup in a tie for 21st and 24th, respectively
