KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the NABC Division I All-District teams and UPS All-District coaches for 2016-17 and North Florida's Dallas Moore earned recognition on the prestigious list.
Moore, the 2016-17 Atlantic Sun Player of the Year and first-team All-Atlantic Sun honoree, was named first-team NABC All-District 3. He earns his second consecutive first-team distinction and remains the only UNF player with multiple selections to the list having collected back-to-back first-team honors along with second-team accolades as a sophomore.
"The accolades continue to roll in as Dallas caps an unbelievable career at UNF," said head coach Matthew Driscoll. "Dallas has done so much for our University, our basketball program and myself, that it is hard for me to put into words how proud and excited we are that others are recognizing his greatness at a national level. He is going to have a long and prosperous future in basketball because he has been committed and dedicated and been able to reap what he sows throughout his playing career. We are looking forward to seeing what his next step will be and are positive that he will continue to be a success at whatever he tries."
The postseason awards are selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, the student-athletes and coaches represent the finest basketball players and coaches across America.
