The Short Story: The North Florida men's basketball team went toe-to-toe with Michigan on the hardwood for 30 minutes before the Wolverines used a late surge to earn an 86-66 decision on Saturday night. Sophomore Garrett Sams led the way for UNF, finishing with 17 points including a trio of three-pointers.

"I thought we did a great job of competing for 30 minutes but unfortunately games last 40 minutes. There were stretches when we did all the things we wanted to do and we were successful but we got hurt by too many turnovers trying to do things that we don't normally do. We are a good three-point shooting team and shot it well from the arc again tonight, however we some how got away from taking those shots down the stretch and started to try and force the ball inside.
