
De Meo Wins Singles B Consolation; Stanford Ends Ospreys Run at All-Americans

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Junior Alberto De Meo won the Singles B Consolation title after grabbing a win at the Bedford Cup, while Standford topped the pair from North Florida to wrap up the ITA All-American Championships.
De Meo took down Mateo Ruiz from FGCU, 7-5, 6-4. It is his first title since his freshman season after sitting two years out due to injury. He was the lone Osprey to play singles on the final day of the Cup.
In Tulsa, seniors Jefta Kecic and Lasse Muscheites dropped their quarterfinal consolation match to Stanford, 6-4, 6-4.
The entire Osprey squad now turns their attention to ITA Regionals hosted by Georgia Tech beginning on Friday, Oct. 13.
