- Tuesday will be the 21st meeting between Georgia Southern and North Florida in a series that began in 2006.
- The Ospreys own a 12-8 advantage in the all-time series and are 10-2 against the Eagles under Head Coach Smoke Laval.

- After falling behind on 6-1 on Saturday, the Ospreys scored 12 unanswered runs to pull out a 13-6 victory. They repeated the trend in Sunday's series clincher, erasing a 4-0, deficit, to rally for six-straight runs in a 6-5 win.
- North Florida has now won 13 games in come-from-behind fashion. Saturday's five-run deficit was matched the largest overcome this season by the Ospreys (USF, 4/12).
- Senior Corbin Olmstead hit his team-leading 10th home run of the season and 33rd of his career on Saturday. He moves into sole possession of third place on the school all-time home run list. He has three-straight 10 homer seasons.
- Home runs by Corbin Olmstead and Alex Merritt powered the Saturday offensive onslaught. The Ospreys are 12-0 when going deep twice in a game.
- Merritt's blast in the eighth on Saturday was his second three-run shot of the season. All five of his home runs have come with runners on base.
- Despite being out-hit in Sunday's win, 13-12 the Ospreys improved to 23-3 when collecting 10 or more hits in a game.
- In three games vs. Lipscomb, the Ospreys racked up 10 infield hits. Dakota Higdon beat out three singles while Kyle Brooks legged out two.
- The Ospreys improved to 22-8 at home and are now two wins shy of tying the school's D-1 era mark of 24 set in 2013 & 2015.

- Senior Kyle Brooks played in his 200th game on Saturday, only the seventh player in UNF history to do so. He is also riding a 10-game hit streak, the second longest of his career (14, in 2014)
- Freshman Chris Berry put together a career day on Saturday going 3-for-4 with three doubles and two RBIs. He had four RBIs in the three-game series vs. Lipscomb.
- Senior Keith Skinner drew three walks in a game for the third time this season on Sunday. He leads the A-Sun with a .483 on-base percentage.
- In his last five games, Nick Karmeris is 9-for-22 (.409) with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs. He is tied for the team lead with 17 multiple hit games.
- North Florida leads the A-Sun in five different categories: batting average (.303), hits (488), home runs (38), slugging percentage (.431) and double plays (50).
- As a team, the Ospreys have struck out only 207 times, the lowest total in the A-Sun by 76 strikeouts.
- Despite ranking seventh in stolen bases (23), the Ospreys have won 13 of their last 14 games when swiping a bag.

- Wednesday's starting pitcher, Frank German will make his first start since April 6. He pitched 2.2 scoreless innings of relief on Saturday.
- Reliever Alex Smith has a save or a win in his last four appearances. In addition he has yet to allow a run in 17 innings pitched spread out over 11 appearances.
- Junior Matthew Naylor recorded the save on Saturday and threw a season-high 72 pitches in 4.2 innings of relief on Sunday.
- Friday night ace Bryan Baker has an A-Sun low, 2.55 ERA and has allowed only 10 earned runs in five starts vs. A-Sun opponents.
- As a staff the Ospreys have 330 strikeouts and an A-Sun low, 137 walks.
- Corbin Olmstead notched his 13th career win on Sunday which is the fifth most in the program's D-1 era. His five strikeouts on Sunday were a season-high and he now has 163 for his career, fourth most in the D-1 era.
- Baker is five strikeouts shy of taking over 7th on the program's D-1 era strikeout list.
- The trio of Baker, Matthew Naylor and Tyler DuPont each have 11 career wins, the ninth most in the program's D-1 era.
- The Osprey bullpen was responsible for 20 innings pitched in three games vs. Lipscomb. A total of six pitchers combined for a 1.80 era while striking out 14 and walking seven. Four of the six pitchers did not surrender a run in 2.0 innings each.
- Senior shortstop Kyle Brooks leads the Atlantic Sun with 143 assists.
- Catcher Keith Skinner has thrown out 15 runners attempting to steal, second most in the A-Sun.
- The Ospreys have tallied 50 double plays this season, the ninth most in the country.
- Nick Karmeris leads the Ospreys with eight outfield assists. He is the fifth Osprey outfielder since 2001 to record eight or more assists in a single season.
Georgia Southern: The Eagles are coming off a road series victory over first place South Alabama over the weekend. Ryan Cleveland, one of two Eagles hitting above the .300 mark, hit a grand slam in Saturday's series-clinching win over the Jaguars. Georgia Southern has been successful in its use of small ball this season and rank fourth nationally in sacrifice bunts. Paired with one of the most efficient pitching staffs in the country, the Eagles have churned out 29 wins in 2016. Eagle pitchers are allowing 6.91 hits per game, third lowest in the country and own a WHIP of 1.22, good for 23rd nationally.
