MACON, Ga. – For the second-straight year, junior right-handed pitcher Bryan Baker was recognized for his academic prowess by being listed on the Atlantic Sun Academic All-Conference Team. He was one of four unanimous selections on the 13-member squad.

A Chemistry major, Baker is also a two-time member of the Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll. Baker is the second Osprey to garner back-to-back Academic All-Conference honors and it marks the second-straight year the Ospreys have had a unanimous selection.

On the mound, Baker is having a career year with an A-Sun low, 2.20 ERA in 13 starts and 77.2 innings pitched. He established a new career-high with 78 strikeouts and is second on the team with five wins. In all 13 of his starts he's allowed three earned runs or less and has started two of the Ospreys four shutouts this season. Back on March 4 against Penn, he struck out a career-high 11 batters in just four innings of work.
