Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - It came down to the final match, in the final set, but the favor fell in the opponents favor as No. 67 ETSU snuck past North Florida men's tennis on Wednesday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Courts.

After Zach Goldberg bounced back from a set down in the No. 6 match, the eyes fell to the No. 1 court where Yannick Zuern faced off with No. 76 David Biosca. After Biosca easily took the first set, 6-3, Zuern fough back for a 7-6 (5) victory in the second frame. In the final set, the two battled back and forth with neither taking more than a one game lead before Biosca buckled down and tallied back-to-back games to clinch the match for ETSU.

To start, UNF grabbed the doubles point with victories in the No. 1 and No. 3 spots. Lasse Muscheites and Goldberg paired up at the No. 1 spot for a 6-1 win. No. 3 doubles of Sahil Deshmukh and Jonathan Deautriell won 6-3 to put the Ospreys out front 1-0.

ETSU evened the match with a win at the No. 5 spot before Muscheites claimed a two-set victory, 6-4, 6-2 to put UNF back out front. ETSU then won again at the No. 4 spot before taking the No. 3 match as well making the remaining matches a must-win for UNF. Goldberg grabbed the victory to make the No. 1 spot the deciding match, but the Ospreys were not able to get it done.

The Bucs now evened the series to 3-3 in last six meetings.

North Florida now turns its attention to conference action as it travels to Spartanburg, S.C. to play USC Upstate on Saturday, March 12 at 1 p.m.
