- This weekend will mark the first ever meeting between Quinnipiac and North Florida.
- The Ospreys are 6-0 against current teams in the MAAC, including a three-game sweep of Fairfield last year.

Florida Swing: This weekend will wrap a seven-day tour of the state of Florida for the Bobcats. They began the week dropping three-of-four games to fellow A-Sun cohort, FGCU in Fort Myers last weekend. Quinnipiac made their way up the east coast of the state and dropped an 8-3 decision to Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday night. They will head back north in time for their home opener against Yale on Wednesday.
Get to the Pen: Junior Alex Vargas has made six appearance in relief for the Bobcats and has yet to surrender a run in 6.1 innings pitched. He has three saves including a two-inning save in Saturday's victory over FGCU.
Hitting for Average: Louis Iannotti is one of two Quinnipiac hitters batting above .300 through 13 games. The junior has a .460 (23-for-50) batting average, the 14th highest in the country. Matthew Batten has scored a team-high 12 runs and is hitting at a .321 clip.
