Game Notes (pdf)JACKSONVILLE -- The North Florida basketball team closes out the home portion of the regular season Saturday against USC Upstate in UNF Arena at 7 p.m. The game, which has been designated as a "Blue Out" and sponsored by Southeast OrthopedicSpecialist, will be carried on ESPN3 and locally on the radio at 1010 XL AM and 92.5 FM. The Osprey's senior class will be honored in a pregame ceremony. The Ospreys (19-10, 8-4 ASun) snapped a four-game skid on Thursday night after topping NJIT, 107-71, in UNF Arena. The win was the largest margin of victory for UNF in Atlantic Sun play and also marked the first triple-digit effort in league play. Junior Dallas Moore scored 21 points to become the all-time scoring leader at UNF while also handing out a career best 11 assists. Demarcus Daniels added a career high 25 points in the victory.USC Upstate (9-20, 3-9) enters the contest having dropped four of their last five including a hard luck 81-76 loss at Jacksonville on Thursday night. Deion Holmes leads the Spartans in scoring at 12.5 points per game.The game is a rematch of a Jan. 21 meeting that saw the Ospreys post a 78-62 win at the Hodge Center in Spartanburg, S.C.

Dallas Moore each scored 16 points to pace UNF while Upstate's Michael Buchanan netted a career best 31 points in the loss. With a victory Saturday, North Florida would secure a hosting role in the quarterfinal round of the upcoming Atlantic Sun Conference tournament.
After hosting the the Spartans, North Florida concludes the regular season Thursday against crosstown rival Jacksonville.
