Men's Tennis Heads to Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Classic

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis will be represented by five players at the Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic beginning on Friday with doubles at 9 a.m. followed by singles at 11:30 a.m. at the Lakewood Ranch Athletic Center.

Senior Zach Goldberg, sophomores Jonathan Deautriell and Sahil Deshmukh along with Dominic Lea will take part in the tournament.

"This will be our fourth year competing at this event. The whole weekend is a great experience for our players," said head coach Mark Finnegan. "There is a players party and great competition for our guys. The players that competed at Georgia Southern will be looking to capitalize on some momentum for their final weekend of the fall."

Deshmukh and Deautriell are coming off a doubles championship at the Georgia Southern Classic last weekend, while Deshmukh hopes to carry his momentum from winning the singles consolation bracket.
