JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The North Florida men's basketball team return to the friendly confines of UNF Arena on Tuesday to host Florida National at 7 p.m. Tuesday's game is part of the Men Against Breast Cancer (MABC) Classic that will also include games for the Ospreys this weekend in Dayton, Ohio.
UNF is looking to snap a two-game skid having dropped games to Miami last Wednesday and on the road Friday night at LSU. Against the Tigers, North Florida battled down to the wire before falling 78-70.
Senior
Chris Davenport led a quartet of starters in double figures finishing with a season best 16 points to go along with six rebounds, six assists and four blocked shots.
Dallas Moore,
Romelo Banks and
Aaron Bodager each added 13 points for the Ospreys.
Florida National, a member of the United State Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), hails from Hialeah, Fla. The Conquistadors are 2-5 on the season and enter Tuesday's contest following a win Saturday night over Pensacola Christian.
