From Coach Confer
On the win
"Today was a hard fought game by both teams. I thought we played a very good first half could have put away a number of opportunities. I have to credit NJIT, they certainly made it difficult for us in the second half but we were able find a way and get the result."
The bright spots
"I thought again our players coming off the bench did a tremendous job. Two of our three assists camefrom players who didn't start, I think that says something about the quality of our depth. Katy (Mixon) was huge for us with two goals and Kelli (Crowley) scored a great goal. It was nice to see production from so many players.
Up Next: The Ospreys will continue on their weekend road trip and take on USC Upstate at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
