MALIBU, Calif. - North Florida men's tennis senior Jack Findel-Hawkins once again defeated his opponent as he moved onto the Oracle ITA Master's Quarterfinals. In the second match of the day, Findel-Hawkins dropped a three-set decision to ETSU's David Biosca.

Findel-Hawkins used his experience against the newcomer Yuya Ito of Texas. Ito had won seven of his last eight matches during the same stretch where Findel-Hawkins battled in both singles and doubles at the ITA All-American Championships.

The Osprey had to make work of the freshman as the Longhorn grabbed the first set victory, 5-7. Findel-Hawkins then responded to make quick work of Ito in the second and third set to advance to the quarterfinals.

No. 47 David Biosca (ETSU) got the best of Findel-Hawkins in the second match of the day for both players. The Osprey won the opening set, 7-6 (4), but was unable to keep the momentum going as the ETSU player took the next two sets, 6-2, 6-3.
