The game, which is sponsored by Waychoff's Air Conditioning, is being carried on ESPN3 and 92.5 FM. The Ospreys (18-6, 7-0) finished up the first half of ASun Conference play undefeated after outlasting FGCU for an 82-76 home victory Saturday night. Beau Beech led the way for UNF against the Eagles finishing with 27 points and eight rebounds. Beech drilled five three-pointers in helping the Ospreys finish with 13, pushing the team's season total to over 300 treys made. Dallas Moore handed out eight assists and also scored 18 points for North Florida.
North Florida has won its last eight games overall, matching a program best stretch, and owns an 18-game home win streak (11-0 this season) heading into Monday's tilt.
Stetson (8-15, 2-5) has dropped two straight and four of their last five coming into Monday's contest. The Hatters fell 75-60 at Jacksonville on Saturday night. Derick Newton is the squad's top scorer averaging 15.7 points per game, while Brian Pegg is one of the league's top rebounders pulling down 9.7 boards a contest.Monday's game marks a rematch for the two squads who met Jan. 6 in DeLand for the league opener for both teams.
