JACKSONVILLE -- North Florida head track and field coach Jeff Pigg and his staff will host a summer running camp at Hodges Stadium on June 29-July 2 for kids from 10-19 years old.
Camp will operate each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch provided. Cost for the camp is $175 with an early registration price of $150 before May 24. The three primary categories of focus will be: speed development (speed and power), middle distance running (800m and Milers) and distance running (cross country and longer distances).
"We are excited to be offering our first running camp," said Pigg. "This provides us a great opportunity to not only expose youth runners to the tremendous facilities at Hodges Stadium but also to share with them some of our successful training techniques. Our main goal is to have campers enjoy a fun, rewarding and learning experience."

The camp is designed for runners of all ages and skill levels and open to runners in grade school, middle school and high school.
