Game Notes (pdf)

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The North Florida basketball team tips off a four-game road swing Saturday at Noon against Louisville in the KFC YUM! Center. The game will also be carried on ESPN3.

The Ospreys hope to remain undefeated on the season having gone 3-0 to start a year for the first time in the program's Division I era and since an 8-0 start in 1994-95. UNF has scored 90-plus points in each of its games this season and is averaging an NCAA leading 16 treys per game.

Today's game marks the third contest of the week for the Ospreys, who topped UT Rio Grande Valley on Monday night (106-84) before beating Edward Waters on Wednesday (98-69). Junior Dallas Moore averages 24.5 points per game in leading a potent UNF offense that features five players scoring in double digits. Moore, who also owns a 25:1 assist-turnover ratio this season, is joined in double figures by senior Trent Mackey (18.7), junior Chris Davenport (15.0) along with seniors Beau Beech (14.0) and Demarcus Daniels (13.3).

Against EWC, Moore had 24 points including five three-pointers and Mackey added six treys en route to a career-best matching 22 point effort. Davenport tallied his first double-double of the year finishing with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Louisville enters Saturday's tilt at 2-0 following home wins over Samford (86-45) and Hartford (87-52). The Cardinals are led in scoring by Damion Lee at 16 points per game, while Chinanu Onuaku averages 14.5 points and a team best seven rebounds per contest.

Following the game vs UL, North Florida continues its road trip Tuesday with a game at Saint Louis.
