MELBOURNE, Fla. – The North Florida swim team will be back in action at the Florida Tech Invite beginning Thursday night. The four-day invitational is the final competition before continuing its dual meet season on Jan. 23.

CCSA Top 24: At UNC Asheville, Kiana Albert posted her fastest time of the season in the 500 freestyle. Her time of 5:15.49 is one of the top 24 times in the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association this season. Taylor has the fourth fastest time in the event this season posting a 5:04.14 against FIU and Georgia Southern earlier this season.

Top Relay Time: the combination of Kaleigh Newcomb, Lauren Kelso, Emily Draskovich and Janie Kennedy posted the team's top 400 medley relay time against UNC Asheville on Nov. 7. It is the eighth fastest in the CCSA this season.

A look ahead: The Ospreys will continue their dual meet season on Jan. 23 third in the Big Easy when they take on Tulane and Vanderbilt in New Orleans.

Triple Winner: In her last time out, Senior Amy Taylor was a triple-winner at UNC Asheville winning the 500 Freestyle, the 1000 freestyle and the 200 Butterfly. She also touched first in the 200 butterfly with the ninth fastest time (2:06.59) in school history. In five meets this season she has put five new times on the program's all-time top-10 list.Â
