ITA Pre-Qualifying Draw
Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships
Â
TULSA, Okla. – The Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships kicks off on Saturday and University of North Florida men's tennis' Yannick Zuern and Jack Findel-Hawkins will compete in the elite tournament that is taking place at the Case Tennis Center and University of Tulsa.
Â
"The guys have a great chellenge ahead of them," said head coach Mark Finnegan. "UNF has such a rich history of success in Tulsa and Jack and Yannick will be hoping to add to it. I have been proud of how both of them have been acting on the court, so let's hope they can go on great runs in singles and doubles."
Â
The tournament for UNF begins with the Pre-Qualifying Singles round on Saturday. Zuern plays Charlottes' Vikram Hundal on Saturday at 10 a.m. Winner of that match advances to Sunday's Round of 128 against the winner of the match between Ohio State's Hunter Tubert and Buffalo's Amar Hromic. Should Zuern make it through the two-day Pre-Qualifying Singles round, he will advance to the Qualifying Singles Round.
Â
Findel-Hawkins is already in the Qualifying Singles round. That round takes place Oc.t 5-7 with a chance to reach the Main Draw on the line.
Â
Findel-Hawkins and Zuern will team up to play in the doubles portion of the tournament. The duo begins doubles play in Qualifying Doubles round that's Oct. 5-7.
