GAINESVILLE, Fla. – All seven members of the North Florida Men's Tennis team were in action Friday at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regionals in Gainesville, Fla.

"We let a big opportunity slip away to have a flawless doubles session this afternoon. We had the number team in the nation up against the ropes but let them claw their way back in," said head coach Mark Finnegan. "However there were many great aspects overall in doubles that was very pleasing. In singles it was great to see Julian get another ranked win. Jonathan also had a great gritty performance to beat his opponent."

In singles action, Zach Goldberg fell in the third round of the qualifying draw, 6-1, 6-1. Jack Findel-Hawkins fell in the first round of the main draw, 6-3, 6-4. Jonathan Deutriell advanced to the second round of the main draw, winning 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, Yannick Zuern fell in his first round match, 6-5, 5-7, 6-5, while Julian Bradley advanced in the main draw, winning 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

In doubles action, Lasse Muscheites and Goldberg advanced into the Round of 32, winning their first match, 8-1. Despite leading the number one doubles team 5-0, they fell in their second round match, 8-6.

The team of Findel-Hawkins and Zuern adavanced to the Round of 16, winning their match 8-4. The team of Bradley and Deautriell advanced to the Round of 16, winning 8-4 then 8-6 in the first two rounds, respectively.

The Ospreys are back in action tomorrow with Day Three of Regionals.
