JACKSONVILLE -- The North Florida basketball team carries a program record seven-game win streak into Saturday's tilt against Atlantic Sun Conference foe USC Upstate in UNF Arena at 7 p.m.

Saturday's game marks the completion of the first half of conference play for the Ospreys (14-9, 6-0 ASun), who sit on top of the conference standings. USC Upstate (15-7, 3-3) has won a pair of games following a stretch of three straight losses but marginsof one, two and three points.

On Thursday night, UNF raced out to an early lead over Kennesaw State and never looked back en route to a double-digit victory. Jalen Nesbitt and Beau Beech shared team honors scoring 17 points each. Chris Davenport added 13 points and eight rebounds in the win.

The Spartans posted an impressive 78-65 win at Jacksonville on Thursday.

As part of the Atlantic Sun's ESPN3 on Campus initiative, Saturday's game will be part of the league's weekly package. Local television sports director and radio personality, Brent Martineau, will handle the play-by-play duties while former UNF assistant
coach Lee Moon, Jr., will provide color analysis. The game will be available online at ESPN3 as well as on the WatchESPN app.

After hosting Upstate, North Florida tips off the second half of league play and concludes their current home stand on Friday against crosstown rival Jacksonville.
