#MTEN Hosts No. 52 UNC Wilmington

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The University of North Florida men's tennis team hosts No. 52 UNC Wilmington on Friday, March 14 at 2 p.m., at the UNF Tennis Complex.
On Tuesday, North Florida outlasted UNC Greensboro in an exhilarating 4-3 victory at the UNF Tennis Complex. UNF clinched the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Findel-Hawkins secured the match-winning point for the Ospreys with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 victory over Randy Phillips at the No. 2 spot.
The North Florida enters the match with two top-50 nationally-ranked doubles teams for the third-consecutive week. Caio Gomes and Yannick Zuern rank No. 34, while Norbert Nemcsek and Jack Findel-Hawkins are No. 47. Gomes and Zuern have a 5-3 record at No. 2 doubles and Findel Hawkins and Nemscek boast a 8-5 dual match record at No. 1 doubles.
UNCW goes into the match with a 6-5 record to close out a three-match road trip for the Seahawks. The UNCW recorded a 4-3 loss at then-No. 58 South Florida on March 8. UNCW's Rafael Aita ranks No. 53 in the ITA singles rankings and holds a 7-1 dual match record and a seven-match winning streak at the No. 1 spot. Â Kaue Pereira and Pedrol Mol are ranked No. 64 in the doubles rankings and boasts a 7-2 dual match record overall going 6-2 at No. 2 and 1-0 at No. 3 doubles. Santtu Leskinen holds an 8-1 record and a seven-match winning streak at No. 4 singles.
