#MTEN Opens Three-Match Road Trip at South Alabama

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The University of North Florida men's tennis team travels to Mobile, Ala., to take on the University of South Alabama on Thursday at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts on a three-match road trip to Alabama and Louisiana.

"We are excited for our next match against South Alabama," said freshman Jack Findel-Hawkins. "We are looking forward to practicing what we have done in training all week and making big steps forward. These next few matches will be against tough opponents and if we compete in the right mind set then we can pull of three big wins this week."

This will be the Ospreys' first match of four-straight road matches. Last weekend, the Ospreys fell to No. 74 USF, 6-1. Findel-Hawkins earned the lone victory for the Ospreys with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-5 (3) win over No. 100 Sasha Gozun.

South Alabama comes off 6-1 win over Alabama State, capturing 5 of the 6 singles matches and the doubles point. The Jaguars are currently 4-2, only falling to Florida State and Furman at the Seminole Quad Invitational.

The match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. EST/ 1:30 p.m. CST.Â
