Game Notes (pdf)

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Playing their third consecutive road game in the last six days, the North Florida basketball team wraps up their pre-holiday schedule on Monday with a game against Iowa at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game is set for a 7 p.m. (CT) tipoff and will be carried live on ESPN3.

UNF (7-5) hopes to continue its winning ways following an 83-65 victory at Florida A&M on Friday night. The victory snapped a two-game skid for the Ospreys and marked the most non-conference wins in a season in the program's Division I era.

Against FAMU, senior Jalen Nesbitt collected his first career double-double finishing with career highs in both points (20) and rebounds (10). Junior Trent Mackey also matched his career best scoring 22 points including five three-pointers.

Iowa enters the match-up at 8-4 highlighted by a 7-1 record at home this season. The Hawkeyes have dropped their last two games including a 56-44 loss versus Northern Iowa on Saturday.

In addition, the game will be televised live on ESPN3 as well as carried on the WatchESPN app. "Voice of the Ospreys", Richard Miller, will have all the action live on the radio at 1010 XL in Jacksonville. Osprey fans are encouraged to also watch the game live at The Brix Taphouse, the official watch party location for all UNF Basketball games. The Brix Taphouse is located in Jacksonville Beach at 300 2nd St. North, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250

After facing Iowa, North Florida will take a week break from competition for the holidays before returning to action on Monday, Dec. 29 at Tennessee Tech.
