Game Notes (pdf)TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Playing the second game in an eight-day span, the North Florida basketball team visits in-state foe Florida State on Wednesday night at 7 p.m., in the Donald L. Tucker Center.
The Ospreys (6-4) look to rebound after a disappointing 82-80 home loss on Monday night against Tennessee Tech. UNF surrendered a double-digit point lead in the second half before making a late surge that came up just short.
Against TTU, sophomore
Dallas Moore led the way posting his second straight 20+ point outing, finishing with a season best 26 points including a pair of late three-pointers that gave the Ospreys a chance to earn the victory. Fellow sophomore
Chris Davenport collected his first double-double of the season after scoring 14 points and pulling down a career best 17 rebounds. His rebounding effort marked the second highest single game total in UNF's 10-year Division I era.
Florida State enters Wednesday's tilt at 4-5 following an 83-63 loss at Notre Dame in their last outing on Dec. 13. The Seminoles are 4-2 at home this season and have won 3 of their last 4 contests at Tucker Arena.
