JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The North Florida basketball team tips off the home portion of their 2014-15 schedule Monday night when the Ospreys welcome Webber International to UNF Arena at 7 p.m.

UNF (0-1) looks to bounce back from a tough 81-56 season opening loss at South Carolina on Friday night. Sophomore Dallas Moore led the squad in the debut contest finshing with 21 points on 7-13 shooting including three treys. The Gamecocks turned a 42-28 advantage on the glass into a 42-14 edge in points in the paint as the difference in the game.

The Ospreys are 16-6 all-time in home openers having won four of five under sixth year head coach Matthew Driscoll. UNF saw a four-game win streak in home debuts snapped last season after an 87-78 loss to Southern University.

* Monday's game marks the 4th all-time meeting between UNF and WIU and 2nd consecutive year the pair of squared off on the hardwood
* UNF leads series 2-1 including a 109-64 win on Nov. 21 last year
* 109 points marked a program D1 record and also first 100-point game of the D1 era
* Aaron Bodager scored had a career high 18 pts including 5 treys in the game

GRAND VICTORY
A win on Monday night for the Ospreys would mark the 100th career collegiate coaching victory for UNF's Matthew Driscoll. It would be the 74th of his tenure at North Florida

RARE APPEARANCE
UNF's home debut is one of just three home games for the team in the first two months of the season. North Florida plays 12 of its first 15 games on the road with Monday's game, a Dec. 1 match-up with Edward Waters and a Dec. 15 meeting with Tennessee Tech the squad's only home tilts in 2014.
