ATLANTA, Ga. – University of North Florida women's tennis' Luise Intert concluded play at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships in the B Singles Draw semifinals on Sunday at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
Â
"Luise competed very well this weekend and I'm proud of how tenacious she was on every point, regardless of the score," said head coach Audra Cohen. "She has made quite a few changes and improved so much in such a short period of time."
Â
Intert began the day with a 7-6, 7-5 win over Georgia State's Marcia Tere-Aspiah in the B Singles quarterfinals.
Â
However, Intert came up just short in the semifinals, falling to Florida State's Lana Rush 6-2, 7-5.
Â
UNF's next tournament is its last one of the fall season. The Ospreys participate in the Dick Vitale Clay Court Classic Nov. 8-10.
