BRISTOL, Tenn. -- The University of North Florida suffered its first loss in six matches on Friday afternoon, falling on the road to East Tennessee State by a 4-0 margin.

The match, previously scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on ETSU's campus, was moved to a 1 p.m. start at the Bristol Raquet Club, an indoor facility, due to weather concerns.

"Today we weren't the better team and we didn't play well against a very solid ETSU team," Head Coach Audra Cohen said. "We had some bad luck with weather and injuries, but we can't use excuses for not playing with heart today."

Though all three doubles matches were very tightly-matched, the Ospreys suffered losses at No. 1 and 2 en route to dropping their first doubles point since a February 23 match against UCF. UNF then fell in singles matches at the No. 1, 3 and 4 positions, all in straight sets, to give ETSU a quick four points. The remaining matches were left unfinished due to time constraints.

"This is definitely a frustrating loss, but it's also a very good learning opportunity," Cohen said. "The good news is that, in a couple weeks, we get to come back here for the conference tournament and show what we've learned."

The Ospreys will be back in action on Saturay, when they travel to Spartanburg, S.C. for a match at USC Upstate. The contest is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
