2011-12 (junior): Earned First-Team All-Atlantic Sun for singles and Second-Team All-Atlantic Sun with doubles partner Aline Berkenbrock… named All-Tournament at the Atlantic Sun Championships… tallied an overall mark of 26-6 and was 15-3 in duals and 7-0 against conference opponents… played mainly at No. 2 singles, compiling a 12-2 mark… also played on the No. 1 court and went 3-1… began spring season ranked No. 123 in the Jan. 3 Campbell’s/ITA Rankings… had a 14-match unbeaten streak… compiled a nine-match winning streak that started with a 6-1, 4-1 ret. win against Eastern Kentucky’s Amandine Faouzi (Mar. 8) at No. 1 singles… picked up a pair of No. 2 singles wins at the Atlantic Sun Championships, defeating Stetson’s Shannon Gunning (Apr. 21) and ETSU’s Giulia Andreazza (Apr. 22)… named the Atlantic Sun’s Player of the Week on Mar. 14, going a perfect 3-0 in singles and helping UNF to two non-conference wins… formed a powerful No. 1 doubles team with Aline Berkenbrock, with the duo going 21-4 overall, 15-3 in the spring and a perfect 9-0 in the Atlantic Sun… finished the year nationally ranked with Berkenbrock, coming in at No. 73 in the final Campbell/ITA College Tennis Rankings… duo ranked as high as No. 66 (Apr. 17) and appeared in the final six polls of the season… finished the season by winning last 11 finished matches of the season with Berkenbrock… posted 8-0 shutouts against Belmont’s Fabiana Mersan and Catherine Holliday (Apr. 6) and Kennesaw State’s Virginie Stein and Alexandra Apostu (Apr. 13)… helped UNF clinch the doubles point in both Atlantic Sun Championship matches... opened UNF career with an impressive fall campaign, going 10-1 in singles and 6-1 in doubles… only player that Ninth-Annual CofC Invitational (Sept. 16-18) to win an individual championship and a doubles title… captured the A1 Singles title with a 1-6, 6-1, 11-9 win against College of Charleston’s Christin Newman… teamed with Berkenbrock to take the A2 Doubles crown, defeating Alexa Flynn and Kaylene Chadwell of Chattanooga… went undefeated in singles in two mock dual tournaments – Panther Invitational (Oct. 14-15) and the UNF Invitational (Oct. 27-29).

Prior to UNF: Attended Texas Tech, playing her freshman and sophomore seasons for the Lady Raiders… tallied a 7-4 singles mark, going 2-1 No. 6 singles in dual play and 5-3 in tournaments as a sophomore… went 4-4 in doubles with a 2-0 No. 3 doubles mark and a 2-4 showing in tournaments as a sophonore… posted a 15-11 record as a freshman… was 7-3 at tournaments… played most of the spring season at No. 6 singles, earning a 7-6 record… finished 5-7 in doubles play, including a 2-0 mark against the Big 12.

Other Experience: Graduated from Crear with honors in 2009… won the under 16 South American Championships in Colombia… top ranked player in Ecuador at 12, 14, 16 and 18 age groups… No. 1 ranked COSAT player at 14… ranked No. 5 by COSAT at 16.

Personal: Majoring in international business… daughter of Lorena Peña and Fernando Aviles… has one brother, Fernando, and two sisters, Valeria and Maria Paula… born Jan. 20.
