STATESBORO, Ga. –The University of North Florida men's tennis team will head to their second tournament of the fall season as they travel to the Georgia Southern Championships.
Teams scheduled to play this weekend include UNF, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Kennesaw State and Armstrong Atlantic.
Junior Caio Gomes is the second seed in this year's singles draw and starts the tournament with a first round match against Kennesaw State's Simon Prittchard on Friday at 9 a.m.
Aside from Gomes, three other Ospreys will compete in the singles draw. Freshman Zach Goldberg joins Gomes in the blue draw. Redshirt freshman Mark Hamill and Pablo Tellez will be in the white draw. Friday's first round is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
Doubles will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m. UNF's Hamill and Goldberg, and Tellez and Gomes will both be in the blue doubles draw.
