BRISTOL, Tenn. – After a weather delay and a venue change, the second-seeded University of North Florida men's tennis saw its season come to an end with a 4-1 loss to No. 1 seed ETSU in the Atlantic Sun Tournament championship match Sunday afternoon at the Bristol Racquet Club.

UNF, who is ranked No. 62 nationally, found itself trailing early as ETSU, who is No. 72 nationally, won the doubles point. Although Moritz Buerchner and Beauregard Treyz captured the first doubles win of the day by defeating Jeremy Bonnevalle and Juan Ramirez at No. 2, the Bucs won the next two matches to get the point. Jesus Bandres and Rogerio Ribeiro had an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles against Leonardo Nahar and Pedro Davisson. Sander Gille and Robin Asker's 8-6 No. 1 doubles win over Norbert Nemcsek and Daniel Sotomarino allowed ETSU to take the doubles point.

The Ospreys tied the match at 1-1 when Nemcsek posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Ramirez at No. 3 singles. However, ETSU took the next three singles matches in order to win its seventh-straight Atlantic Sun title. Bonnevalle broke the tie with a 7-6 (3), 6-2 win over Davisson at No. 4 singles. Gille held off Sotomarino 6-3, 7-6 (5) on the No. 2 court, while Bandres defeated Buerchner 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.
