DeLAND, Fla. – No. 3 seeded University of North Florida fell to top-seeded East Tennessee State, 4-0 on Saturday afternoon in the 2011 Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Tennis Championship title match at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center in DeLand, Fla.  

The Ospreys (15-7) claimed a win over No. 6 seeded JU in the opening round before upsetting No. 2 seeded Campbell in the semifinals to advance to the A-Sun title match.

Paula Jaime earned the match-clinching point for the Lady Bucs (15-6) with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Melanie Aguirre at no. 4.

ETSU claimed the doubles point early in the match, winning in the No. 1 and No. 2.  

In singles action, the Bucs secured the title with wins at the No. 1, 2 and 4. The Ospreys were in a pair of three set battles when the match was called due to time constraints.

Victoria Krook was squaring off with Marine Wieliczko in the No. 3. The UNF player fell in the first set, 6-4, but had come back for a 6-2 win in the second set. Krook and Wieliczko were tied at one when the match was called.

In the No. 5, Simona Weymar and Diana Navrostska were back and forth with Weymar taking the opening set 6-2 before falling 6-2 in the second. In the third set, Navrostska was up 3-2 when the match ended.

UNF placed Krook and Danielle Day on the All-Tournament team. The Ospreys finish the season, 15-7 and went 8-2 in the Atlantic Sun.
