Biography
2009-10 (junior): Tallied a 20-3 record in duals, playing primarily at the No. 4 singles… won in the title match of the A-Sun tournament… had a 26-8 overall record… teamed up with Lauren Holton in the No. 3 doubles during the season, tallying a record of 12-5… Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.
2008-09 (sophomore): Had a 20-6 overall record in singles, including an 18-3 record in duals… appeared in the No. 4 (1-0), No. 5 (6-2) and No. 6 (11-1) positions… notched an 18-2 record in doubles in duals with partner Lauren Holton, playing in the No. 3 position… ranked as high as No. 67 in the nation in doubles… Atlantic Sun All-Academic.
2007-08 (freshman): Posted an 11-8 singles record in the spring and went 10-7 at No. 5… defeated Manijee Ashrafi of No. 73 Lamar in three sets (3/13)… won seven of her last nine singles matches to close out the season… went 10-5 with doubles partner Maria Melihova, which included a 9-2 record against the Atlantic Sun Conference… Atlantic Sun All-Academic.
Other Experience: Won more than 30 tournaments in Sweden, including a regional championship in Gothenburg in 2005… has only played competitive tennis since 1999… trained under coaches Jonas and Stefan Svensson… played in multiple significant tournaments each year, including the Swedish Championship twice a year since 2000, the Salk Open in 2002 and 2003, the ETA in Sweden in 2004 and the Division I Tournament with her Swedish Club GLTX in 2005 and 2006… advanced to the final 16 at the Swedish Championship in 2005… reached her regional finals twice.
