
Ospreys Open Home Stand Against Wright State

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Following a challenging three-game road swing, the North Florida basketball team tips off a four-game home stand Wednesday against Wright State at 7 p.m. in UNF Arena.
The Ospreys (1-4) look to regain their winning ways having played a pair of Top 10 ranked squads in the last five days. Wright State enters the match-up at 2-2 following a 78-65 loss to No. 9 Florida on Monday night.
For the season, junior Andy Diaz is leading the way offensively for UNF averaging 10.0 points per game. Diaz, who has scored in double figures in three of the last four games, also ranks second in rebounds with 5.2 per game.
Sophomore newcomer Travis Wallace is the squad's top rebounder at 5.8 boards a contest and is listed second in scoring at 9.6 points per game. Junior Jerron Granberry adds 9.5 points a game for the Ospreys.
Wednesday's contest marks the first meeting between the Ospreys and Raiders on the hardwood. It will also be UNF's first game against a team from the Horizon League.
WSU fell to No. 3 Ohio State in their season opener, 73-42, before picking up wins over Kenyon and Jackson State. The Raiders most recently lost to Florida in a neutral site game played in Tampa. Reggie Arceneaux scores 12.0 points per game to pace the Wright State attack.
