
Ospreys to Host FAMU and College of Charleston

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida women's tennis team is set to host Florida A&M on Friday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. UNF will host College of Charleston on Sunday, Feb. 21 in an 11 a.m. match.
The Ospreys (4-0) are coming off a 6-1 win over South Alabama. UNF swept the singles matches to defeat the Jaguars who entered the 2010 season ranked No. 53 in the nation.
Florida A&M was picked to finish second in the MEAC Preseason Tennis Poll. The Rattlers also return All-MEAC selection Rachel Pye from last year. FAMU fell to UCF, 4-0 in the only match it has played this season.
College of Charleston (1-3) was ranked 72nd in the latest ITA poll after defeating No. 62 Boston University, 5-2. CofC is the defending Southern Conference champions and return All-SoCon selections, Holly Dowse and Caroline Newman.
Following Sunday's match the Ospreys go on the road for a three game swing, starting with Bethune-Cookman on Friday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m.
