Jeff Dennis earns all-tournament honors
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – For the fourth time in five years the University of North Florida golf team came up one spot short of capturing the Atlantic Sun Championship. UNF recorded a final round of 302 at Keith Hills Country Club on Wednesday to finish the tournament seven strokes behind
UNF began the day seven strokes behind the Camels and cut the lead to five on the front nine but never came any closer.

Jeff Dennis finished the event even par to record a fourth-place finish and earn all-tournament honors. Dennis came into the round alone in third place but his 77 dropped him down one spot in the final standings, three strokes behind tournament medalist Michael Stewart of
Joe Byun had the best round of the day for UNF, shooting a 2-over-par 74. He began his day with a birdie on the par-3 third hole before recording a bogey on the seventh to make the turn even. Byun bogeyed two holes on the back nine to finish his day. Fellow UNF freshman Kevin Aylwin was 3-over-par for the day, shooting a 75.
Chris Kennedy shot a 76, while Jordan Gibb matched Dennis' 77 to complete the scoring for the Ospreys.
