
Ospreys announce new athletes for 2010

James Post and Meggie Emons headed to UNF
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida Ospreys are proud to announce the addition of some new talent for the 2009-2010 track season. These new athletes will bring some depth to a team going into its first full season of NCAA Division I competition when they enroll as freshmen in the fall of 2009.
James Post will come to UNF from Melbourne High School in Melbourne, Fla. As a mid-to-long-distance runner for the Bulldogs, Post has been a consistently excellent runner. Some of Post's personal bests include a 16:00 5000m run, a 1:57.09 800m and a 4:29.16 1600m.
Meggie Emons is a long-distance runner and will come to UNF from Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Fla. Emons has shone well as a Wildcat, running the 5000m in a time of 18:59.00 and the 3-mile run in a time of 8:29.00.
Post and Emons will join a UNF squad that is hosting the 2009 and 2010 Atlantic Sun Conference Track and Field Championships at its brand new state-of-the-art track facility located at Hodges Stadium.
