Senor Vanessa Sanchez will play last match
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida women's tennis team will wrap up its season at 2 p.m. on Tuesday against cross-town rival Jacksonville in the SunTrust River City Rumble at the UNF Tennis Complex.
Not only will it be a battle for a point in the race for the SunTrust Old Wooden Barrel, but it will also determine the second-place team in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Ospreys are coming of wins against Mercer (6-1) and Kennesaw State (5-2) over the weekend to put them over the .500 mark overall for the first time this season.
Senior No. 2 singles player Vanessa Sanchez will play her final match as an Osprey. Sanchez has won six of her last seven matches and never lost in doubles to JU.

Who's Hot: Junior Natalia Sanchez went a combined 4-0 over the weekend in both her singles and doubles matches against Mercer and Kennesaw State. She has won three consecutive No. 1 singles matches. Her two doubles wins with partner Carolina Melo shattered an eight-match losing streak.
Notables: The Ospreys have won three straight matches, all of which have come in conference play ... UNF has won the doubles point in all of those matches ... UNF have never lost to Jacksonville as a member of the A-Sun ... the Ospreys are 5-3 at home this season ... junior No. 4 singles player Ina Durcakova is on a three-match winning streak ... she has also won three-straight doubles matches with Vanessa Sanchez.
